Key Responsibilities

  • Production Documentation: Create, maintain, and organize production records, work orders, and related documentation. Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.

  • Scheduling: Assist in scheduling production runs and coordinating production activities to meet deadlines and production targets.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products. Coordinate with procurement to reorder supplies as needed.

  • Quality Control: Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures. Help in conducting inspections and recording quality data.

  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on production metrics, including output, scrap, and downtime. Analyse data and identify areas for improvement.

  • Communication: Act as a liaison between production staff, management, and other departments, conveying important information and ensuring clear communication.

  • Safety Compliance: Support the implementation of safety policies and procedures within the production area. Assist in maintaining a safe working environment.

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the production team, including organising meetings, preparing documents, and assisting with special projects.

  • Problem-Solving: Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve issues that may impact production efficiency or quality.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
