A major sign installation programme following a new corporate brand identity
During the evolution of a company there comes a time when a new image is needed to reflect its values and identity in a way that resonates with how we perceive design features such as logos, fonts and colours.
This was the case with cancer care specialists Genesis Care who we worked for following a successful tender submission to install new signs across their entire 95 location estate, spread across the UK, Spain and Australia.
Cancer care is, naturally, a sensitive and emotional healthcare provision, so Genesis Care’s new brand identity was designed to reflect this with a family of assets that set an appropriate visual tone to their premises.
Created by their design agency Dragon Rouge, once the designs were approved we specified the technical elements, as well as manufacturing the first articles, and prototyping in both the UK and Australia before final sign off.
As part of our pre-design due diligence the Pearce Signs team surveyed each of the Genesis Care sites in full before we produced our full proposal for a list of requirements which included:
Large building signs
Window manifestations (with differing levels of privacy)
As part of this international installation project, a key element involved the removal of old signs and ‘making good’ walls and doors where old signs had been with washing and repainting surfaces.
Genesis Care is a great example of how Pearce Signs has the experience and global reach to deliver a consistently high quality installation on an international scale while working in partnership with an existing design team to realise their creative vision.
Also, given the nature of the settings we were working in, our teams were sensitive to the privacy and dignity needed around each installation.
As with all projects of this scale, we bring together our engineering knowhow and partner network to produce a seamless rollout within the time frame needed by the client.
