Overview

One of the many reasons why signage is such an important asset for companies is when they’re undergoing growth or restructure, often as a result of an acquisition.

This was the case for Japanese technology company NTT, which came to Pearce after recent expansion through a company takeover, for a major global brand implementation contract, which involved internal and external signs and an interior makeover.

Requirement

NTT needed to ‘neutralise’ its newly acquired corporate space which meant extensive interior decorating to change internal wall colouring from green to blue, coupled with an overhaul of external and internal signs.

Working on a truly global scale, the NTT project is a perfect example of how our design and project management team worked alongside an internationally-dispersed client-side project team, which included their designers in Johannesburg, head office in Tokyo, procurement team in India and global sourcing offices based in Dallas.

Solution

Completed within a challenging time-frame, just before the global pandemic brought the world to a halt, the project showed how we could create a strong brand identity across all their offices while making each of them feel rooted to their localities. Our interior work extended to lobbies, reception areas and lifts, as well as feature wall graphics depicting scenes and local landmarks on office walls.
